I had a solid stay at the Residence Inn near the Salt Lake City airport. The one-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, though the breakfast options could improve—especially the oatmeal, which I found unappetizing. Overall, it was a good value for the price and had friendly staff, but there were definitely some areas that could be better.

The suite was roomy and furnished with a full kitchen. perfect for extended stays. Central air was a nice surprise, making for a peaceful night’s rest.
Service

The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. they really tried to make my stay enjoyable. However, I didn't feel they were adequately prepared for the busy holiday season.
Location

The location is convenient. being only 7 minutes from the airport and a short drive to downtown Salt Lake City. It was great to escape the hustle and bustle while still being close to attractions.
Dining

Breakfast offerings had potential, but the oatmeal needs work. it was watery and not appetizing. I appreciated the variety, though I wish there had been more items available on busy days.
Facilities

The hotel had useful amenities, like the full kitchen and internet access. but the indoor pool and fitness center were closed during my stay, which was disappointing.

6.2/10

My recent stay at Residence Inn Salt Lake City Airport was more enjoyable than I remembered. The spacious rooms provided every amenity I needed, making my extended stay comfortable. I appreciated the efficient shuttle service to the airport, but the elevator was a bit noisy and could use some maintenance. Overall, I found great value in the generous breakfast options and the warm hospitality of the staff.

Rooms
10.0
The room was well-appointed with a complete kitchen, sitting area, and comfortable bed. I loved the separation between the bathroom and the sink area, which was convenient. However, I noticed that the hotel could benefit from some updates and repairs to maintain its quality.
Service
10.0
The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to help me with my requests, contributing to a nice stay. Despite some minor issues, their willingness to assist was a highlight of my visit.
Location
10.0
The hotel’s location was ideal, being close to the airport and major routes like I-80. It made getting around easy, whether I was heading to meetings or exploring downtown Salt Lake. However, it's situated away from any nearby shops or conveniences.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast had a solid variety, and I found plenty of good options to start my day. Although I did run into a problem with the coffee situation, it was still better than most places I've stayed at. Plus, the evening social hours were a nice touch to unwind after a day.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had a range of facilities, including an indoor pool and a gym. The barbecue area was particularly inviting and added to the friendly, community-oriented vibe. Still, the elevator noise was a bit distracting, and it could use some tender loving care.

5.2/10

My stay at the Residence Inn was a mixed experience. While the room was spacious and provided the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, the service was lacking. The shuttle service to the airport was unreliable, and the breakfast options were disappointing. Overall, I left feeling that there’s room for improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The one-bedroom suite I stayed in was well-furnished and equipped with a full kitchen, which was great for my needs. The bed was comfortable, and having the separate living area allowed for privacy when needed.
Service
5.0
The initial check-in was less than friendly, and I encountered issues with the staff being unhelpful regarding the shuttle service. Communication was lacking, especially when I needed clarity about the shuttle schedule and breakfast availability.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient for accessing downtown in just 10 minutes. It felt more peaceful than staying directly in the city, which I appreciated. Plus, there were nearby fast food options and grocery stores.
Dining
5.0
I was disappointed with the breakfast options. I didn’t get any coffee, and there were no to-go bags ready as promised, which was frustrating. It didn’t add much to my experience.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had the basics needed for a comfortable stay, though I wished the shuttle service was more efficient. Services like grocery shopping and laundry were available, which is useful for extended stays.

5.2/10

My stay at the Residence Inn Salt Lake City Airport was mostly positive, with consistently high marks for cleanliness and staff friendliness. However, navigating through the construction zones upon arrival was a bit disorienting, and communication about the ongoing work could have been better. Overall, the hotel offered a comfortable and safe atmosphere, making it a great choice for my trip.

Rooms

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, especially Tracy who provided excellent customer service. They ensured all my needs were met promptly.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location was convenient, just 7 minutes from the airport, making it easy to access without being in the city’s bustle.
Dining
6.0
While I appreciated the breakfast buffet, I found the dining options somewhat limited nearby, which could be improved.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were solid, with a nice courtyard for gatherings and a gym, although some areas were under construction which took away from the experience.

5.2/10

My stay at the Residence Inn Salt Lake City Airport had its ups and downs. The location was super convenient for my travels, and the breakfast spread was genuinely impressive. However, my room wasn't as clean as I would have hoped, and I encountered some issues with the construction around the hotel. Overall, it was a decent experience but left room for improvement.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and included a sitting area, but I found some dusty surfaces and discovered a previous guest's swimsuit in the shower. That was quite off-putting.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff were friendly and responsive, really willing to assist with my needs. However, the lack of clear directions during check-in led me through construction debris, which was a bit frustrating.
Location
10.0
Its proximity to the airport and easy access to downtown made it a solid choice for my visit. I appreciated being in a more peaceful area while still close to the action.
Dining
10.0
Breakfast was better than most I've had at similar hotels, offering a variety of fresh options. It was a great way to start my day.
Facilities
5.0
The fitness center was smaller than expected and missing some basic amenities like sanitizing wipes and towels. Overall, the facilities felt a bit outdated and in need of attention, especially with ongoing construction.
